Biking

Spring has come and it is back to the trails. My winter coat needs to be shed and the excitement of the ride must begin. This winter I was published in BIKE magazine, where I talked about the need to ride no matter the time or weather. I have gone out a few times this season, but the first time back was great, not but three minutes into the ride I ejected myself off the bike and ate dirt. It's sad that falling made me feel so good. So fun pushing the limits and seeing what I can do. This years goal is to summit Baldy and ride all the way home. Should be epic...

update

It has been a long time since I last updated. Jase has become a really fun boy. He loves being outside with a passion. seeing Jase standing at the door asking to go out is not uncommon. Since Superbowl Sunday he has been walking and trying to go outside to run in the grass, so much fun. He seems very interested in being outside instead of watching TV. Can't wait till age 6 I think we will love going out exploring and getting into things.

SUPER BABY

Such a big boy and he is growing everyday. Yesterday I came home and momma said, "check this out." Brooke poured a handful of cheese puffs on his table and he picked one up and started chewing on it. Who would of thought eating a puff was so momentous?

Fun mornings...Each morning I am able to wake Jase up (he's usually up already) and bring him smiling to watch momma getting ready. Although it worries me that he is a morning person I still get a kick out of his happy face. I thought that any day now I won't be able to set him on the bed as we get ready for work because he will be crawling and probably with the way I am take a fearless leap off. Just to make things fun I have put the bed on little pillars to get the extra height.

the pictures below are of the baby blues that I love and Jase in Costco laying on a polar bear rug.

my new ride

Mike and I sold the trailer that Afi Lou (Dad) left to us. I was fortunate enough to get a great new motorcycle from the trade in. Mike will continue to drive the truck as long as it stays as cool as it is.

summer is ending

It’s been a while since the last uploads and many things have happened in the Life of the Dunbar’s. Matthew has gotten a motorcycle and is loving the feeling of the environment as he drives. As the wind sweeps past his helmet and exhaust fills his lungs it takes a few minutes each day picking the bugs out of his teeth because he has been smiling the whole ride. Momma Brooke has started school again and she looks to have a good year full of great kids. This years class is the same very class Brooke had four years ago when temporarily she was a kinder garden teacher. It’s nice starting the year with familiar faces. Jase is getting bigger and bigger each day and making his parents very happy. Every morning Mom and Dad are greeted with a giant smile as Jase looks to be a morning person, dad is not happy about that. Both parents being back at work leaves Jase with a new sitter. Aminta will be watching him during the day and getting him great experience around other children. Grandma Sue will also give mom and dad a break, and watch Jase as well as filling his growing head with wonderful adventures. We are so excited for the upcoming growth…
